Opioid Use Guidance
A new Canadian guideline that provides comprehensive and current information regarding the use of opioids to safely and effectively treat patients with chronic non-cancer pain is now available.
Greater Protection for Patients
A new regulation gives the College the authority to ensure that Ontario patients who undergo invasive procedures in premises outside of hospitals
receive quality care in a safe environment.
Dispensing Drugs Policy Approved
A new policy that sets out expectations for those physicians who dispense drugs has been approved by Council.
