Bill Powell

Bill leads CPSO’s Communications team and utilizes his extensive expertise and passion to assist the College in achieving its strategic goal of meaningful engagement with Ontario’s patients, physicians and other health-sector stakeholders. His oversight of the College’s external and internal communications functions plays a crucial role in the organization’s effort to deliver trusted doctors providing great care to the patients of Ontario.

Before joining CPSO, Bill spent a decade in professional regulation with the Ontario College of Teachers. During this time, he was instrumental in the development and execution of policies and protocols needed to support enhancements driven by legislative and regulatory changes. Prior to that, he had a long and accomplished career in strategic communications, digital innovation and service delivery in the Canadian aviation industry.
