CPSO's 2025 Annual Report Now Available

On February 5, 2026, CPSO released its 2025 Annual Report. We are proud to highlight the initiatives and achievements that shaped CPSO this past year.

Some of the highlights include: 

• Concluding our first 5-year Quality Improvement (QI) Cycle, which saw record engagement of over 30,000 physicians
• Executing our modernized election process for physician Board Directors 
• Welcoming over 700 physician assistants as registrants, as well as over 9,000 newly registered doctors
• Creating two new classes of registration – provisional and retired
• Issuing licences within one business day of final document verification (80th percentile), while creating new and updated pathways to licensure for qualified internationally-trained doctors
• Closing complaint files within 130 days of receipt (80th percentile), surpassing our goal of 150 days
