CPSO Releases Its 2024 Annual Report, Highlighting Key Successes and Accomplishments

On February 4, 2025, CPSO released its 2024 Annual Report. We are proud of the successes realized this year in regulating the practice of medicine in Ontario and, significantly, in achieving all 10 of our key performance indicators.
Notably, in 2024 we:
- launched a new Physician Register, offering a better user experience and state-of-the-art security;
- created new and updated pathways to licensure for qualified doctors;
- engaged 8,980 doctors through our Quality Improvement Program, well exceeding the target of 6,500;
- closed complaint files within 130 days of receipt (80th percentile), surpassing our goal of 150 days; and
- implemented governance changes to modernize our election process for physician Board Directors.
